Professor Georgio Katsaros is a distinguished academic and researcher affiliated with the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA). A leading focus of their research group is to study spin qubits in Ge 2D heterostructures and investigating the physics of superconductor – Ge hybrid platforms. Recent achievements of their group include coherent manipulation of singlet-triplet hole qubits in QDs and demonstrate strong induced superconductivity in Ge based Josephson Junctions.

With access to multiple high-frequency dilution refrigerators and  their expertise in design and tune up of hybrid Ge devices the Katsaros group with lead the parallel development of Ge based Kitmons.
