The Quantum Electronics Group headed by Prof. Szabolcs Csonka (EK) has long-standing experience with SCQD hybrid devices, the fundamental building blocks of the Kitaev-chain.

S. Csonka realised the first Cooper pair splitter and his group has recently used hybrid devices to provide the first experimental demonstration of an Andreev molecule. Their group has vast experience in transport characterisation of nano-electronic circuits and microwave technology to manipulate and address quantum circuits.

Dr. Csonska’ group, together with Dr. Makk and Dr. Volk would focus on experiments focusing on experiments studying hybrid superconductor-semiconductor devices in III-V 2DEGs.
